For these people, a white magician is someone who casts spells with the aim of growing closer to that universal cosmic truth. For them, there is no higher goal than true enlightenment.

Of course, in magic as in everything else, you ultimately have to make up your mind. One psychic healer will tell you one thing whereas another one will tell you another thing. There are dozens of traditions, so the important thing is to find one that appeals to you. Don't be too afraid. Playing with magic is a lot of fun, and you're guaranteed to have good results as long as you get in with the right positive attitude.
