This isn't one of those generic ghost hunter magazines, and it isn't particularly dedicated to aliens either. The main focuses cryptozoology, but it does cover other areas of paranormal investigation.

Of course, if you're just looking for a scary magazine, you should probably buy some collection of horror or speculative science fiction. Many of these tales of the weird actually draw their inspiration from paranormal magazine stories anyway, but they use these stories as inspiration for more fantastic tales. A lot of the scary stories are truly captivating, if not always that well written. They will have you turning pages until the end, and will make you shiver in ways that a typical ghost hunter magazine won't be able to.

Then again, there are spiritual magazines that also touch on ghosts and unexplained phenomenon, but in a more positive. Rather than looking at ghosts and aliens as things be feared like a typical paranormal magazine, these periodicals propose that being from higher dimensions actually there to help us. Although the subject matter is the same, it appeals to a lot different people. The question really is, do you see the unknown is something to fear or something to embrace.
